Summary of Our Top Ten Design rules for perfect Mould Design
Mold design is a very detail oriented work. If the details are not considered properly, it will affect the quality of the whole mold. Many new friends in the mold industry are eager to be pointed out by their predecessors. The accumulated experience of other people's work, perhaps pointing out, can solve many problems that have been puzzled for a long time. What a wonderful thing!
1、 Design method of locating ring and big water mouth pump
1. Each set of mould must be equipped with locating ring to facilitate mould installation and positioning
2. Generally, the diameter D1 of the locating ring is 60-82mm (for example, the depth of the impeller is more than 25), D is 100mm, 120mm and 150 mm; the diameter tolerance is - 0.2-0.4mm, and the height of the protruding die plate is at least 8-10 mm;
3. The nozzle shall be sunk into the A-plate as far as possible about 10 mm from the internal mold (according to the special requirements of the customer)
4. In general, double pump nozzles are used, with diameter of 12mm, 16mm and 20mm;
5. When processing the R radius of the concave position of the nozzle, increase 1-2mm according to the data of the injection machine, and increase the fine hole diameter by 0.5mm.
2、 The relationship between the three opening distances of the automatic dehydration die
1. The fine nozzle mold (three plate mold) must rely on the water inlet pull rod of the device, the fixed distance screw type pull strip, the ejector, the catapult, the catapult glue or the return pin, so as to ensure that the water inlet plate and the a plate will automatically fall off when they move to the water inlet;
2. The diameter of the set screw shall not be less than 8-16mm;
3. Four nylon nails (nylon fastener machine) are installed on the surface of B plate (moving formwork) to ensure the opening sequence, the effect is safe, reliable, economic and practical, except for special cases;
4. Parameter L2 = L + L1, where l is the actual nozzle material length + 20 ~ 30mm safety margin, and L1 is the length of dehydration outlet plate;
3、 The design of barrel depth and locating circle size
1. Generally, 100mm for a and 80mm for B;
2. When H > = 50mm, B needs to be 90mm;
3. When the tonnage of beer machine corresponding to the mold (in the minimum) is greater than or equal to 650T, a needs to be 150 mm.
4、 The practice of water inlet pin
1. The water inlet pin is concentric with the water inlet;
2. Pin diameter D is applicable to diameter 5 or diameter 6 (depending on the diameter of the runner);
(1) D = diameter 5, channel diameter < = 8;
(2) D = diameter 6, channel diameter > = 10;
3. Pin angle a is applicable:
(1) 1 degree: suitable for PC, PA + GF;
(2) 2 degrees: applicable to ABS, PS;
(3) 3 degrees: suitable for PP, POM, PA;
4. The distance between the water inlet push plate and the water inlet push plate is 10-15mm
5. Soft rubber: H degree > = H + 2 ~ 5mm
6. Only the diameter of the pin (diameter 5 or diameter 6) should be marked in the die drawing, and other parts need not be marked (processed according to the process standard in the factory)

6、 Design method of spring, strut and limit post
1. Blue spring for plastic mould is adopted, and both ends of return spring must be ground flat;
2. All moulds must be equipped with 4 return springs on the thimble plate to help the thimble retract evenly;
3. If the die has no inclined top, the spring can be directly installed on the return pin; if the die has inclined top, the spring needs to be installed in other positions, and the spring is positioned with a guide pin;
4. The return spring can not be compressed more than 48% of the free length, and four ejection limit pins shall be made on the ejector pin panel under the condition of effective ejection of the rubber part; the compression ratio of the spring shall meet the following conditions: x = L * 0.48-10 (preloading length), y = L-10 (L refers to the length, take the standard value), and the original standard for ordering spring: DF (yellow spring) d * l (DF = model, d = outer diameter, l = original length)
5. At least 6 garbage nails shall be installed between the thimble plate and the bottom plate and fixed on the thimble plate;
6. The supporting head shall be designed in the middle of the mould as far as possible, and the diameter shall be as large as possible.
7、 Design specification of guide water level (auxiliary rubber inlet)
For large water inlet, auxiliary rubber inlet shall be added to maintain good fluidity of plastic. The distance from the edge of auxiliary rubber inlet to the edge of product glue position is 0.25-0.5mm, depending on the size of product and flow channel
8、 Design code for exhaust
For the mould with curved P1 line, when parting the mould, the surrounding area shall be provided with void avoidance position and exhaust position, so as to facilitate the machining of CNC. The specific specification and size shall be in accordance with the following standards (see the figure for details)
9、 Design specification for induction switch of oil cylinder
